I have the same El degas but mine has a one peace maple neck which runs right throw the body.It also has phase switches for both pickups. I think it's must be a copy of a Lado? It plays and sounds great!

I once had the bass version of this guitar - one p pick up with phase switch. I just bought one of these guitars a month ago for $160 and I'm pumped. I was once told (when I bought the bass) that it was an original El Degas body they were starting to market.

I bought an ElDegas similar to this in Brockville in 1983.The knobs on mine are black. Mine also has a gain switch and a 3way switch. This one may also but the picture is hard to go by.I think I paid around $400.00 It plays well but I paid to much.
