2002 D'Angelico NYL-2 New Yorker

Price : US $ 2150
This is a 2002 D’Angelico New Yorker NYL-2 Archtop Jazz guitar. This guitar was made by the Vestax Corporation in Japan, and should not be confused with the lower quality Korean models currently available. It is all original.
I obtained the guitar from the original owner in near pristine condition, and it has spent most of its life in the case with very little playing time. The neck is very straight and has minimal fret wear. Specs include a selected maple neck, ebony fingerboard, and 25.5” scale with 22 frets. It has low string action, and plays extremely smooth. The electronics include a dual-coiled pickup mounted on the pickguard with one volume and one tone control. As expected from the 17” body (3” depth), the sound is warm and full, and is wonderful for playing jazz. It has a pressed curved solid spruce top with laminated flamed maple back and sides.
This guitar has no major scratches, dings, or chips. There is a 2mm-long superficial “worm hole”-type indentation on the side near the input jack, which I indicated in a photo. There are some very, very light swirls on the pickguard. It is really a super instrument, and will be much appreciated by its next owner. This guitar has been stored in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment.

Is your guitar still for sale,...do you have more pictures that depict the headstock and/or other angles. Also could you comment further on the "hole" near the jack. Cheers and thanks
