1967 Ventura V-10

Very nice, all solid wood, appear to be Spruce over Hog b/s. Very nice good intonation, I've played it for about 3 weeks now and have decided to have the adjustable saddle replaced with bone as I did with my V-13

UPDATE: I opened the truss rod cover to adjust the neck and the truss rod was broken, after going back and forth, I decided to get it repaired. My good friend john Bradley at Reckneckguitars.com removed the fretboard, repaired the truss rod and installed a new fretboard and frets on the instrument. He also got rid of the adjustable plastic saddle and installed a standard bone saddle, boy it is a nice sounding and playing guitar now. We call it the "HoneyBee" around here.

If you have a chance to look at one of these, look for the early models with the matching veneer headstock, the ones with the black headstock (in my experiences) were made later and are laminated and plywood, but this is solid spruce with solid mahogany back and sides, a real nice playing guitar, 000 sized, perfect for "couch concerts" LOL
