I bought this guitar used in the early 90's for work in touring 80's style rock bands. It's in pretty good shape considering its age and the time it served on the road.

As far as I know the pickups are original. I never messed with the pickups on this one. There is an extra pickup adjustment screw hole in the pickguard next to the neck pickup indicating that someone may have tried. The electrical tape seen in the pictures over the ends of the neck pickup has since been removed.

The pots are quiet and function properly but they have a scratchy feel as you turn them. They have considerable milage. If I were to keep the guitar I would replace them. The pickup switch knob is slightly bent upwards. It was that way when I got it. It seems to make it more comfortable to use.

The jumbo frets have some wear but there's still plenty of life left in them.
It's currently set up as a hard tail with a small piece of wood between the body and tremelo block. It is easily removed. I still have the tremelo arm, and there are spare parts (4 clamps and 5 bolts) for the locking nut.

There is one paint chip, a few dings, and some belt rash. I've tried to capture these with my camera but they are small and not noticeable from just a few feet away. She's still a very striking looking guitar.

I'm including a strap with Dunlop strap locks. The original strap buttons will be included. The strap came to me from a completely different purchase but it happens to have the Yamaha logo tooled in to it. How cool is that!? This strap belongs with this guitar.

The original case disintegrated beyond repair years ago and is long gone. The spring cover is also missing. I recently purchased the spare nut clamps and a service manual (to be included) from Yamaha. You may be able to get the spring cover and case from them too. I will send it in a gig bag and pack it very carefully.

Thanks for looking. Feel free to ask questions.
