This guitar is not a reissue or copy . It is the real and is in excellent condition. There are no cracks, missing parts or repairs. The neck is straight and the guitar plays and sounds great. The cherry sunburst finish, ornate bridge and pickguard make this guitars one of the most beautiful ever made and the Gibson quality speaks for itself. There are no buckle rubs on back, no loss of finish and only very light finish nicks on top. The neck has almost all of its original finish with only light capo marks that can be seen with close inspection.
The finish is classic 60's with moderate crazing. The highly figured maple back is particularily vivid. There are no loose or cracked brases or separation at the neck joint. The tunematic bridge allows for adjustmment of action and intonation to everyone's personal taste. The guitar has had a recent professional setup by an authorized Gibson luthier. He could find no structural problems what so ever and , in fact, referred to the guitar as one of the best he has seen. Frets are all original with moderate wear on lower end. The pick guard does show some signs of aging with several spots of discoloration. It is complete with all original screws and there are no cracks or chips. Tuners are original and are all in great condition. The serial number is 370915 with a 2 over the 0. Gibson indicates that this guitar was made in 1967. Original Gibson hard shell case.
