Thanks for viewing my auction.   This description will be long, so bear with me :).  This guitar is a 1989 Charvel Japan neck-thru that had never had any hardware mounted to it until a month ago.   I got it here on eBay as N.O.S., but why it had gone 18 years without being assembled is uncertain.   It may have been a factory second due to the small ding on the heel (which is smooth and just a paint crack).   The color is Platinum and it is probably a 1989 550XL.    It was made in the same factory as the 86-88 Model series and the later Professional line.
I purchased the body a few months ago.   Other than the ding and the poorly repainted headstock, the rest of the guitar is 100% mint.   There is no fretwear as this guitar has only been played 30 minutes.   I decided to hot-rod it since an unassembled late 80’s Jackson/Charvel neck-thru is a very rare bird.   Here’s what was installed:
