Late 70

Antares: ARC-23, Korean by the looks of the tuners.. Plays really well.. I was pleasantly surprised.. I like the body style even though you can see the laminated wood all around the edges.. Still has the model number sticker on it..

I have an Antares like this.My first guitar.my girl of 25 yrs bought it in 1990.love it.If you watch the Metallica video "cliff em'all".You'll notice Dave Mustaine playin a gold lookin, one. this guitar has a nice raw metal sound.I wouldn't give it up for anything.

I HAVE THIS SAME GUITAR,IN BLUE,WITH STOCK HSC,CUSTOM FITS GUITAR INSIDE CASE....FROM WHAT I'VE LEARNED ANTARES STOPPED MAKING GUITARS IN THE EARLY/MID '80's.I "THINK" THEY MAKE ELECTRONIC COMPONETS ONLY NOW.THEY MADE SOME DECENT GUITARS,NOT SUPER GRADE,BUT SOME VERY NICE MID GRADE GUITARS.I HAVE A FELLOW MUSICIAN THAT HAD A FLYING-V ANTARES SAME COLOR AS MY ARC BACK IN THE '80'S,HE HAS OFFERED ME $200 CASH FOR IT,I HAVE SEVERAL GUITARS I MAY SELL IT.BUT,I WOULD MISS IT.IT WAS GOOD TO SEE (YOURS),ANOTHER ONE WITH THE SAME BODY STYLE AS MINE.-BIG JIM
