Special order; purchased by me while teaching Classical Guitar in a Music Store in 1976.

The best of their line of eight Classicals; (Special order only.)

Refurbished by the factory in 2007 under the Lifetime Warranty.

I've never play its equal; including the CYM95 Yari I bought in 2007.

The Alaverez 1976 Guitar Catalogue states:

No. 5035 OVERTURE

The serious classical musician will appreciate the fine workmanship in this superb instrument.

Solid spruce top has soft antique shade finish. Back and sides are rosewood.

The fanbracing is a hand tapered for best tone and projection. Gold plated heads are engraved.

Factory work; they replace the Ebony fretboard and installed new nickel-silver frets and straightened the Mahogany Neck.

It comes with the original case and a Humicase along with the Humicase insulated external cloth case.

Beautiful guitar!!! I know a Classical and Flamenco player who had one of these. A beautiful and powerful sound... able to bring tears to your eyes.
