You are bidding on a Platinum Silver, Jay Turser, Les Paul Model JT200C guitar with a white bound top and neck. The guitar is in like new condition and has not been extensively played. It was acquired new as a high quality platform to build a prototype that would be reproduced in a top end Gibson Les Paul. The first step was to do a setup and test. The stock pickups were pretty bad and the controls did not make precise adjustments. They were the first to go. AlnicoV magnet goldenage, wax dipped, splitable, vintage pickups were installed, along with premium long neck CTS 500k potentiometers and knob position pointers. After experimentation, the decided  wiring layout had basic three way switching, a master single volume control, master single tone control with a Sprague orangedrop .047uf capacitor, and (two) individual variable humbucker to single coil split controls. The pickups were rotated to take advantage of that and further enhance the tone of both the humbucker and single coil options. The final modification was to rewire and flip the alnico magnet of the neck pickup to create opposite polarity and noise/hum canceling of the combined single coil neck and bridge pickups. It also worked out that the split...
