The McCollum Slope D modelwas designed to have many of the characteristics of the legendary GibsonAdvanced Jumbo. Unlike the Gibson AJthat could sometimes be too woody and too “thumpy,” this guitar has somewonderful modern sound characteristics with great ring and chime. This guitar has a big voice with a rich, articulate bass, a strong detailed midrange and big fat trebles. This guitar loves to be fingerpicked andhandles a flatpick with ease. It will beequally at home pounding out country blues and rags as well as playing sweetlyin the church choir.
