The Yamaha ScF04 was the first guitar i've ever owned. it has been reliable to me, and I love it! I mean, sure it doesnt play as well as some other nicer guitars, but it does sound good. When I got it at Sam's Club (tee hee lol) I had to adjust the truss rod, replaced the cheap saddle and nut with TUSQ material (really good stuff, really makes the guitar resonate and feel "full") and replaced the bridge pins with Gibson rosewood pins. Overall, if you buy this guitar, replace the cheapie plastic nut, saddle, and pins and expect to adjust the truss rod. It will sound amazing when you do, at a really small fraction of the cost of Martins, Taylors, and Gibsons. Wont be dissappointed AFTER guitar is properly set up. =D
