80's/90's JACKSON NECK
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2009-01-31)
Price : US $122.50
Up for auction is a 80's /early 90's Jackson Neck , (This is not a copy, Its a real jackson neck)
It has the charvel headstock and is cut for a Floyd rose nut thru neck mount ,It has a Rosewood fretboard and 21 frets.
The Neck is strait and the frets have life but needs a level ,and This neck was converted to a 21 fret it was a 22 fret originally ,
(The lip of the fretboard end was cut off , not the heel) so intonation is same as a 22 fret neck
Also it was a D shape and converted to a C shape contour, (Just a litte off the sides)
Small nick on 21 fret on bottom but doesnt get in the way of perfomance of the the neck.
Also the heel was sanded a little (see pictures)
1 11/16 nut , 2 1/4 heel
Truss Rod works fine,( I have the Rod tenstion on minimum so you will have to adjust when you mount this on.)
The neck tuner holes were grover tuners the (same kind on the new charvels)
The neck is in Fair shape and is solid and can play as is but it may need a fret level.
I have tried to capture the Neck close up so you can really see clearly. If you require to see a specific area not covered in the pictures or have a
Question email me.
