Gibson Les Paul Historic 56 Goldtop Re-Issue

I bought this guitar in 2005 and has not left my studio basement since, so it has no road wear and is in mint condition. On the back of the body you can see a few dings but only if you shine a light the right way; the finish is still intact. The front is clean.
The 56 Goldtop sells for $3700 new. This guitar is not only much cheaper but also better than new: I comes with Jason Lollar's P90s, instead of the original Gibson P90s. If you are a collector you are out of luck because I sold the original pickups, but if you are a player rejoice because the reason I forked out $200 for these pickups is that they bring extraordinary clarity and tone; and clarity in a Les Paul is a most welcomed thing... I A/B'd them with Gibson's P90s and it was no contest.

This is not a boat anchor Les Paul. At 8 lb. 14 oz. it's just a bit heavier than an average Strat. But it's enough weight to have the Les Paul's great punch and power. This model has a 50's neck, which is substantial and gives the instrument great stability.
