1968 Gretsch VikingYou are bidding on what has been my favorite guitar for many years....this 1968 Gretsch Viking with original Gretsch velvet lined case, serial #25164 Made In USA. Second only to the White Falcon, the Viking was at the top of Gretsch's line througout the '60s and '70s....complete with all the same features as the Falcon as well as the gold hardware. This particular guitar is no exception to the greatness of it's pale-faced sibling. I purchased this guitar on ebay about 10 years ago. The sound of the Viking is rich, warm, dark, thick, swampy, deep, stunning....from raunchy crunch, swirling jangle, to snarling twang. This is the consummate rock 'n' roll guitar in every way. It breathes of mistique, soul, and skanky noir nightclub personality. The wood is aged, ultra-light, and
