You are bidding, on a unique instrument. It is a Les Paul copy made by a company called Freedom, a generic brand. It is also slightly different from a Les Paul as it has a hollow body with f-holes, this gives it a wonderful mellow tone. What makes this most unique though is that this guitar has been fretted with twice as many frets as normal. Normally a guitar is fretted to the 12 tone per octave equal tempered system, this guitar is fretted to a 24 tone per octave equal tempered system. With this guitar you will be able to play any quarter-tone music that has been composed in the past including many arabic maqams. Middle eastern music in modern times has utilized the 24-tone system for its simplicity and compatibility with 12-tone music/instruments. From what I discovered through playing the 24-tone system is much like an extended 12-tone system but has an excellent approximation of the 11th harmonic, a better approximation of the 7th harmonic, addition of the neutral 3rd and 3 different tritone intervals to play with. Of course there are 12 more keys to modulate to and almost an endless amount of chord structures and progressions otherwise not available on a standard guitar. It is fantastic for playing microtonal blues runs.
This guitar also has a moveable bridge which makes it possible to adjust the intonation such that the octave can be set to say the 19th fret hence giving you a 19 tone equal tempered guitar. Other temperements can be acheived but may need some adjustment to the bridge height. I would say it can practically be set to 19 through to 28 tone equal temperaments without needing modification to the bridge. I do recommend to keep i
