Offered for bid is a Gibson made 1964 Epiphone Bard FT-112 12 string guitar with non-original case. This is a bit of a project guitar that has been languishing in my back room waiting for me to finish it, but, that isn't going to happen anytime soon. Good news: it won't require a great deal of time or money to restore. I just don't have the time nor the inclination since I do not have a use for a 12 string. Nope, just not a fan. BUT it is an opportunity for the right person. Top has some sag and a non-pro attempt has been made to reinforce it in a couple of spots. Part of the bridge is original but has had a piece glued to the bottom of it to counteract the effect of the sag. I had the guitar tuned for about 10 minutes when I first got it before I had to remove the bridge because it had shifted. I also had to remove some clear coat that a previous owner had brushed on over the original finish. Some buffing should bring the finish back to life. There is a small crack on the back near the end pin (see photo), but it is not a major issue. At one point someone had installed a strap pin on the treble side of the heel of the neck. The hole has been filled with what looks like a mahogany dust/glue material.
