''A Night of Burnin' Love''
in memory of songwriter Dennis Linde.
Dennis Linde was a legacy member of the music community and the Nashville scene in general, having written such songs as ''Burnin' Love,'' ''Goodbye Earl,'' ''Bubba Shot the Jukebox'' ''It Sure Is Monday,'' and ''Callin' Baton Rouge'' among others. We have organized this special event to benefit the Coalition for Pulmonary Fibrosis (CPF) as a ''friendraising'' and publicity attempt to spread awareness and help to conquer the deadly lung disease that claimed Dennis' life in 2006. ''A Night of Burnin' Love'' will raise critical funds and increase awareness for pulmonary fibrosis (PF), a disease that currently afflicts 128,000 Americans and has no known cause, no FDA-approved treatment and no cure.
