For Martin guitar lovers it is essential. In the archives of musical instrument history ''Martin Guitars, a History'' is truly a treasure. Here has been compiled the complete history of the development and production of the Martin guitar. Written by Mike Longworth, this book required six years of research, digging and contacting individuals throughout the country who were known to possess valuable instruments. In this book can be found details of each instrument by year, including prototypes, specials, instruments made for other firms and regular production instruments. Ideal for reference and collecting.

The book is in near perfect condition. No damage to the book itself. Dust jacket has a few worn spots and small tears aroung the edge. Signature is clean and strong.

This book belonged to Paul Toenniges of Studio City, CA. who ran a music store starting in 1953 and sold many of the finest guitars including Martin guitars for decades.
