1964 Burns of London Nu-Sonic Black
This guitar is no longer for sale (sold on 2012-01-23)
Price : US $ 2500
This is a beautiful unrestored example of the early Nu-Sonic guitars made in London before the company was sold to Ampeg. With the exception of the control knobs, the guitar is all original.
I am open to offers. Thanks, Rick
The paint has some patina as it has aged over time. There are a few nicks and dings but overall it is in excellent shape for its age.
There is a lot of life left in the frets and the original tuners work as they should.
The pickups sound great and the action is nice and low. I had it set up by Matt Brewster at 30th street guitars in New York last year.
Probably my favorite feature on this guitar is the trem system. It works flawlessly and the guitar stays in tune. Its really great for adding a little shimmer to your play. I really think this style of trem is the best I have ever played on a guitar and am shocked that it didnt become industry standard for its American counterparts.
