Beautiful vintage Gibson 12 string. I bought this guitar in the mid-80's from a friend in the Nashville Country Music community. He was a bandmember who played on the Grand Ole Opry every weekend. Can't say whether this particular guitar has any history attached to it, but it's possible. It has a great tone, plays well, and no defects to my knowledge. Comes with an old beat up case.... Chihuahua in reflection not included :-) Guitar appraised at $1,500. Here is description from appraisal:
'Based upon examination of the photos, this instrument appears to be in fine original condition. It conforms to the typical specifications of the model for the period in which it was made with 14 ½ inch body width, natural finish Sitka spruce top, mahogany neck, back, and sides, unbound Brazilian rosewood fingerboard with pearloid dot inlays, Gibson peghead decal, Brazilian rosewood bridge with no bridge pins and adjustable height saddle, nitrocellulose tortoise shell grain pickguard, and white binding on the top and back edges of the body.'
Please contact me with any questions or requests for additional info or photos.
