I obtained this cool old guitar several years back from the original owner. There are still stickers on the neck marking the frets from when he took guitar lessons as a kid! It's not mint—small pieces of the bridge between the A/D and B/E strings are broken off, and there's a hairline crack that runs most of the length of the fretboard. Neither issue affects the playabililty. Overall it's in very good condition—hard to find one from '62 that's this nice. In fact, this is the only one I've seen on eBay with the pickguard graphic still intact. There's minimal buckle rash on the back (some, but not a lot). It's got a nice throaty tone to it, and a bigger sound than you'd expect from a single pickup guitar. It's missing a string at the moment, but I'll throw in a set of D'Addario XL110's for the winning bidder to install. The guitar comes with the original case, which shows its age a bit more than the guitar itself (as most 45-year-old pressboard cases do).Bidding starts at $195 with no reserve. Buyer pays shipping and insurance.
